Therapeutic Day Treatment (TDT) — Referral Assessment

Service Description

WISE Enterprise Inc. provides Therapeutic Day Treatment (TDT) services in Virginia, authorized under the Virginia Department of Medical Assistance Services (DMAS) and the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services (DBHDS). TDT is a structured, school-based or center-based behavioral health service for children and adolescents (ages 5–21) who have a mental health diagnosis and need intensive therapeutic support beyond standard outpatient care. SERVICES INCLUDE: • Individual and group therapy • Behavioral intervention and skill-building • Family psychoeducation and involvement • Crisis prevention and de-escalation • Coordination with schools and treatment teams ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS (per DMAS): • Must have a DSM-5 mental health diagnosis • Must be enrolled in Medicaid or FAMIS • Must have a completed Level of Care (LOC) assessment • Referral required from a licensed mental health professional, school, CSB, or physician NO COST TO CLIENT — Services are billed directly to Medicaid/FAMIS.
